The IRS has announced that it will not change the standard mileage rates for 2012. So for all you 2012 tax planners, as well as, those tax payers who are collecting their 2011 tax information, here is the P&S (poop and scoop):

July 1 - December 31, 2011 (same for 2012)
Business 55.5 cents
Charitable 14 cents
Medical and moving 23.5 cents
January 1 - June 30, 2011
Business 51 cents
Charitable 14 cents
Medical and moving 19 cents
